NRSE 3122 - Person-Centered Nursing Care of Adults I


Students apply clinical judgment and clinical reasoning to the concepts of person-centered care for adult clients experiencing acute and chronic physical health alterations. Students expand on fundamental concepts of quality and safety, professionalism, interprofessional care, informatics, and system-based practice as they apply to adult health nursing practice. Laboratory and clinical experiences assist students in the development of skills and integration of theory into practice.

Requisites: NRSE 2202 NRSE 2212 NRSE 2222. WARNING. No credit if NRSE 3131

Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

  • Students will be able to integrate principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into the care of adult clients with health alterations.
