FILM 3650 - Producing
Students examine the function of a producer in financing, organizing, scheduling, budgeting, managing, and securing distribution for a film.
Requisites: Film Majors Only (UG)
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture

- Students will be able to budget a motion picture project.
- Students will be able to develop a distribution and marketing plan for a motion picture.
- Students will be able to breakdown and schedule a film production.
- Students will be able to write professional screenplay coverage.
- Students will be able to create a festival plan for a motion picture.
- Students will be able to manage tasks in pre-production, production and post-production.
