DANC 4904 - Special Topics in Dance - Capstone


In this course, students select a topic to investigate for their BA Capstone Project. They consult sources of evidence, analyze those sources, and draw upon their knowledge of dance as a discipline to communicate the results of their project through multiple modes of representation. The special topics could include dance technique, production elements, dance pedagogy, dance science and somatics, or aesthetics of historical or contemporary dance forms.

Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 6.0 hours.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will be able to articulate an informed position and logical conclusion based on their investigation of the capstone project.
