THAR 1710 - The Theatrical Experience


This class examines the nature and function of theater by exploring the creative development and cultural significance of dramatic art from Greek to contemporary times. It gives an overview of different styles of theater and aligns them with historical events and cultural climate. Students deepen their understanding of theatrical dialogue and character portrayal/representation by viewing and analyzing performances.
