ETM 4600 - Applied Project Management
This is a capstone course requiring each student to use knowledge from previous courses to develop and conduct project management. Senior project elements include process planning and control, resource planning, communications, evaluating cost considerations, quality assurance, business documentation, and project monitoring.
Requisites: ETM 3625 and 3820 and 4325 and FIN 3000

Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to identify the functional areas of an organization and document the flow of information/data.
- Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to use project management principles for process improvements and cost savings.
- Students will be able to apply fundamentals such as math, science, and statistics to address business changes.
- Students will be able to apply the principles and process of quality assurance as well as the statistical process control tools to manage a real-world project.
- Students will be able to demonstrate ability to work with little supervision, with high expectations, and tight deadlines.
- Students will be able to reflect on the capstone experience through development of a professional report and presentation.
