XLRN 2100 - Building Your Story through Study Abroad/Away


Serves as a curricular companion to study away programs, emphasizing immersive student engagement with their program location while on site. Using the best practices of experiential learning, this course fosters student understanding and implementation of preflection, action, and reflection methodologies to maximize personal, academic, civic, and professional growth through the authentic context of their program location.

Requisites: Enrolled in Global Opportunities program

Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will be able to connect relevant prior academic knowledge and cultural experience to on-site engagement in their host community.
