These attributes are evidenced in our students, staff and faculty profiles. We bring in world-class artists as guests and teachers. We work locally, nationally and internationally. We view citizenship as a responsibility and an inspiration for each of our areas. These qualities lend themselves to the Interdisciplinary Arts B.F.A.. This program offers developing artists the opportunity to create their own path in our environment of mentorship and global thinking. The future of the arts is tied to the ever-widening scope of innovation and cross-discipline interaction. Our college offers undergraduate degrees in Art, Dance, Film, Music and Theater. Innovation is a key to entrepreneurship. Artists regularly create their own professional paths, and interdisciplinary work opens doors to new opportunities. Graduates of the program may find careers crossing between disciplines, such as music for film or dance and movement as performance art. Students with theater backgrounds may apply performing arts practices to sculptural objects. As we continue to develop new technologies, interdisciplinary artists can utilize a broad range of skills and talents to bridge art forms and facilitate cultural interaction.
