Program Overview
The Accelerated Graduate Pathway: Industrial and Systems Engineering program provides outstanding students the opportunitity to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Systems Engineering while completing some courses towards a Master of Engineering Management. ISE students who have: 1) an overall GPA of 3.2 or a 3.0 overall with a 3.5 in the most recent 30 hours, 2) maintained a 3.0 in all ISE courses completed, 3) completed 60 semester hours, and 4) completed ET 2450 , ET 3300 , ISE 1200 , and ISE 3210 , with no grade below a B- are eligible to apply for conditional admission to the graduate program.
Admissions Information
Students will be eligible to apply when they have earned or are in-process of completing 60 credit hours; students will be eligible to enroll in courses when they have earned or are in-process of completing 75 credit hours.
Application is limited to students who:
- Are in the Industrial and Systems Engineering (B.S.) major.
- Have completed ET 2450 , ET 3300 , ISE 1200 , and ISE 3210 with no grade below a B-.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or 3.0 overall with a 3.5 in the last 30 semester hours.
- Have a 3.0 GPA in all ISE courses.
Opportunities Upon Graduation
The Accelerated Graduate Pathway (AGP) program is intended to allow students to take courses towards a graduate degree while enrolled as an undergraduate student. As such, students are expected to pursue graduate coursework upon completion of their undergraduate degree.
Requirements
Students may complete up to 16 hours of graduate-level coursework under the AGP. Of these courses, up to nine hours can apply to the undergraduate degree requirements. The ISE courses available to be taken before conferral of the bachelor’s degree are:
- ISE 5151 - Information Systems Engineering Credit Hours: 4 (will count towards B.S. requirement of ISE 4151 )
- ISE 5160 - Principles of Six Sigma Credit Hours: 3 (will count towards B.S. requirement of ISE 4160 )
- ISE 5300 - Intro to Designed Experiments Credit Hours: 2 (will count as a B.S. Technical Elective)
