Using blog alternatives in Blackboard Ultra (Instructors)

Description

The blog feature does not yet exist in Blackboard Ultra. This article provides alternatives for instructors using Blackboard Ultra.

Solution

Since blogs do not yet exist in Blackboard Ultra, there are alternatives for this feature.

  • Journals provide the same function with a different audience. Journals are only visible to the student and the instructor. 

  • VoiceThread  could also provide a possible workaround.

  • Discussions in Ultra Courses have also been redesigned and might fit your needs.
