Mac, PC, and mobile app
There are a few reasons your course may not appear on your Courses page in Blackboard.
Is it more than eight (8) weeks before the course start date?
Courses you are teaching will automatically appear on your Blackboard Learn Courses page eight (8) weeks prior to the start of the course.
Are you listed as the instructor of record in Course Offerings for the course?
Courses for which you are listed as instructor of record will automatically appear in your Blackboard account. Please contact your department admin for assistance if there is an error with your instructor of record status. Users with the Instructor role may submit a request for OIT to add TAs, instructors, and other users in Blackboard Original and Blackboard Ultra courses.
Are you trying to access a course that ended two (2) or more years ago?
As per the Blackboard course retention standard , Blackboard courses will be available to instructors within Blackboard for two (2) years after the course's end date, plus the semester in which the course is last taught. Two (2) years after the course's end date, the course is automatically archived and is no longer visible in Blackboard but can be restored upon request by contacting the IT Service Desk .
Outcome:You should be able to access active courses for which you are listed as instructor.
