How can I provide accessible service counters?
An accessible service counter allows for a variety of individuals to receive service and includes four key features:
- At least one section of the counter is 36-inch long and no more than 36 inches above the floor.
- A 30" by 48" clear area in front of the service counter
- A clear path to get to the service counter
- A counter space clear of plants, decorations, photos and other items
