The Ohio University Athens campus is renowned for its beauty: Its neo-Georgian architecture and charming brick pathways that wind through vibrant greens dotted with towering trees. Autumn may be the most spectacular season of them all, as the leaves turn to gold, orange, and red as the weather grows cooler.

The photographers of University Communications and Marketing—Ben Siegel, Rich-Joseph Facun, Eli Burris, and Julia de Sa—captured arresting images of the Ohio University fall season and have compiled them in this photo essay.

These images show why OHIO gets regional, state, national, and international attention for its campus beauty. The University has been named one of the top 15 most beautiful campuses in the country by Expedia.

In September, OHIO was designated as a “Tree Campus USA” location by the Arbor Day Foundation for the fourth year in a row. The honor recognizes colleges and universities for promoting healthy trees and engaging students, faculty and staff in conservation efforts.
