Ohio University Campus Recreation and Counseling and Psychological Services are offering a body-acceptance program called The Body Project during fall 2021, the third year for the program.
The program consists of four one-hour sessions led by trained peer instructors. Student participants will discuss appearance-ideals present in current society and other topics that affect thoughts about body image. The research-based program has been shown to improve body satisfaction and reduce risks for disordered eating behaviors.
Virtual and in-person options will be made available.
All genders are welcome to participate. OHIO students who are interested can email OUBodyProject@ohio.edu . For more information, visit the Body Project website .
