Ohio University Chillicothe is seeking nominations for the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award, presented to Ohio University Chillicothe alumni who are making a difference as leaders in the community.
The Ohio University Chillicothe Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes outstanding alumni who have made an impact on the campus and in the community. Recipients may exemplify excellence through service to the University, philanthropic support, recognition in their professional field or service to the greater Ross County community.
Nominations
are open through March 15 and may be submitted by faculty, staff, alumni and the community at large.
Last year’s awardees were Lorna Buskirk,
a lifelong educator, and faculty member at OHIO Chillicothe, and Dr. Jim McKean, a retired police chief who puts his extensive knowledge and experience in law enforcement and criminal justice to work as a faculty member at OHIO Chillicothe.
Based on the nominations received, the review committee will select an award recipient, who will be recognized at the Ohio University Chillicothe Spring Graduation Recognition Ceremony on May 2, 2024.
