Ohio University students collaborated with the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) to create a decorative endcap for Cardinal, a powerful new supercomputer housed at the OSC. Cardinal supports advanced research in fields like artificial intelligence, data science, and engineering. The endcap is a large visual panel mounted at the end of the system, blending art and technology.
Ohio University Southern will host the Ohio University Symphony Orchestra on April 5 at 3 p.m., concluding the Ironton Council for the Arts’ 2024-25 concert season.

The School of Film will unveil a cutting-edge addition to its Equipment Circulation Center, located in the basement of the Central Classroom Building on 67 W. Union St – a state-of-the-art LED wall.
This year, 32 students took part in the semifinal competitions, and then eight students advanced to the finals in late February.
The competition invites undergraduate students to present a brief, compelling oration on their research/creative work and its significance.

OHIO's Veteran and Military Student Services Center will present “Scrap Heap,” a raw, immersive theater performance that explores the psychological and emotional toll of military service.
Presented in collaboration with the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts and The Majestic Galleries, the exhibitions will feature the work of Chad Robert Collofello and Douglas MacDowell.
Homecoming Week 2025 will kick off on Oct. 13, 2025, with the Homecoming football game against Northern Illinois on Oct. 18.
