Environmental Communication, Advocacy for Vulnerable Groups and Development Planning
Ama Dufie Ofori-Birikorang, specializing in environmental communication and advocacy, is dedicated to amplifying the voices of vulnerable groups and creating agency for their development. Her capstone research, “ The phenomenon of ‘quarry kids’: Exploring parent and community perspectives on children engaged in quarry activities in Ghana ” reflects this commitment. Communication for social change, Ama aims to raise awareness about environmental issues and empower marginalized groups.
