Donald Brown holds a M.B.A in Executive Management from the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University, a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from The Ohio State University, a Bachelors in Public Administration from Ohio University and is currently working on a Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Technology at Ohio University. Brown is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Recreation, Sport Pedagogy and Consumer Sciences and is the program coordinator and faculty in the Customer Service Leadership program. He has also taught in the Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism program because of his extensive experience with business management and customer service in the private club industry. He has certificates in Customer Service Sales through the National Retail Federation and the Food Protection Manager Certification through ServSafe. He is an active member of the Club Managers Association of America and advises the student organization of the same name here at Ohio University.
