BobcatBUY 24.2 upgrade will be released to the campus community on Monday, July 15, 2024. Below is a summary of the changes campus users will experience with this upgrade.
Supplier Search Enhancement
A new experience view for Supplier Search, similar to document search (Requisitions, POs and Invoices), will be introduced for all organizations and users with the 24.2 release. The new user interface provides a consistent, modern, and end-to-end experience for users with easier access to important functions, enhancing the user experience. A quick reference guide has been created to guide users through using this new search.
Varying Details per Order Acknowledgement Line Item:
Previously, when users received an order acknowledgment on their POs, it could indicate whether an item had been accepted, backordered, or rejected, and provide an estimated shipping date. However, if an item was to be delivered in multiple shipments over a period of time, users would receive multiple order acknowledgments for the same order—one for each shipment.
With the 24.2 release, PO lines can now be split in order acknowledgments. This means that suppliers can enter different shipping dates, statuses, etc., for specific quantities of a line item within a single order acknowledgment. As a result, users no longer need to manage multiple acknowledgments for the same order, simplifying the process and providing clearer information about shipments.
Blanket Order, Change Order Request, Close PO Request and P2P Document Review Form Enhancements:
A new feature has been introduced to enable the forms to open in a new window instead of current window. When clicked on the form name, the form opens in a new window and users can then complete the form, and upon clicking the Save button, the values will be saved and the window will close. This functionality allows users to refer to previous orders in BobcatBUY while working on new Blanket Orders, Change Order Requests, Close PO Requests, and P2P Document Review Forms.
