Rachel Weisberg is a 4th year Film Major in the School of Film at Ohio University. She enjoys many aspects of film and TV development and production, with a focus in screenwriting. Her screenplays center around coming of age, drama and comedy.

Rachel spent the past summer in Los Angeles working as an intern for a production company as part of the Ohio-in-LA program. She wrote screenplay coverage and attended meetings with industry professionals while touring major studios and working on a short film as 1st AD.

Some of Rachel’s favorite classes she’s taken are Narrative Screenwriting, Film Studies, and Directing. She is currently working on her senior capstone film which will premiere in April.

As an Art Ambassador, Rachel provides assistance with tours, social media and info sessions for prospective students, and for engaging with cultural events, receptions and exhibitions.
