Overview

Students who study at Chubu University will enjoy learning Japanese in a quiet, comfortable setting in a residential suburb of Japan’s third largest city, Nagoya.

The study abroad program at Chubu, is a direct credit language intensive group program. An OU faculty designed international experience, students participate in planned group activities, have an OU alum to assist during their time in Japan and and navigate cultural challenges. Students will be evaluated on the materials they submit and may have interviews on case by case basis.

There is also an Exchange program with Chubu University for students looking for a longer experience.

Living Arrangements

Students will live in double-occupancy rooms in an International Student Dorm on the Chubu University campus. Linens will be provided.

The dorm includes kitchen facilities. Students can also order certain weekday meals from an outside caterer. When classes are in session, there is a wide array of cafeterias on campus offering many varieties of inexpensive meals.
