Bobcats Vote
Exercise your civic duty and cast your ballot for local, state, and national leaders. Oct. 31 is the last date to request an absentee ballot . Nov. 2 is the date all absentee ballots must be postmarked, but drop your ballot off in person if you can! Nov. 3 is Election Day; find your polling location if you are voting in person.

Be Smart and Safe on Halloween
Review the message from the dean of students sent this week regarding Halloween safety. Students are advised to keep gatherings small, reconsider visitors, avoid offensive costumes, be engaged bystanders, and think creatively about how to celebrate with friends.

International Perceptions
Revisit last week's expert panel featuring Emmanuel Jean-Francois, Nukhet Sandal, and Mario Grijalva. The topic is how other countries view America’s current election in terms of being concerned with their own countries’ relationship with America.

RACISM IN AMERICA

Social Context
Tune in Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. for a conversation between three faculty experts: Anirudh Ruhil, Stephen Scanlan, and Charles Smith. The group will discuss how the Black Lives Matter movement will affect the 2020 election.

First-year students are encouraged to apply to join a cohort of first-year leaders in a year-long adventure that facilitates personal growth and team development. The final information session is Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. and the deadline to apply is Nov. 2 .

Visit MyOHIO Student Center to make an appointment with your advisor for help planning your spring schedule and to review progress toward your degree.

Library Resources
Access resources such as subject and course guides or schedule appointments with your subject librarians and archivists through University Libraries .

Students who seek academic assistance tend to perform better in classes and retain more information. These services are available to all students across all majors.

PUBLIC HEALTH

Quarantine and Isolation
Bobcats are encouraged to use this guide to determine when it is necessary to self-isolate or quarantine. All students subject to quarantine or isolation are not permitted to exit their assigned building to minimize exposure and risk.
