Online MBA program ranked best in Ohio by Poets&Quants

Ohio University’s Online MBA program is ranked best in the state and 39 th nationally in the latest Poets&Quants rankings .

OHIO had the highest average undergraduate GPA among ranked programs, and ranked 36 th in admissions standards, 28 th for academic experience, and 41 st in career outcomes.

“The online MBA program continues to deliver on the promise of a top-quality educational experience delivered in a manner that meets the needs of today’s students who have work and family responsibilities,” Ohio University President Hugh Sherman said.

Ohio University’s ranking has largely held steady despite the addition of more ranked programs each year. The ranking is based on admissions standards, academic experience and career outcomes. Admissions information is collected from a survey sent to schools, while academic experience and career outcomes are determined through an alumni survey. Both took place between May and September 2021. Poets&Quants also ranked OHIO’s undergraduate business school in the top 75 in the nation.

“We are honored by this continued recognition from Poets&Quants for our Online MBA program,” College of Business Dean Jackie Rees Ulmer said. “Our focus is on teaching critical professional skills and providing the tools and guidance needed for our students to advance their careers.”

OHIO’s nationally-ranked  College of Business  offers the highly recognized Online MBA program. The program offers eight concentrations to help students reach their personalized professional goals, in a way that is comprehensive of material but also flexible to the student’s schedule. Graduate students in the college also can receive career guidance and coaching from Randstad RiseSmart , thanks to its unique collaboration with Ohio University.

OHIO’s College of Business also offers a  Professional MBA  program, which is a blend of virtual classes and in-person residencies located on the Dublin campus, a  One-Year MBA  program in Athens and several other  graduate business degree and certificate programs  that are offered in online, hybrid and on-campus formats.
