Give your children the opportunity to understand real-life issues using math! The Ohio University Patton College of Education is partnering with the National Science Foundation to present Connecting Math to the Real World, a free summer day camp filled with engaging math-inspired activities July 8-15.
Participants in the day camp will solve challenging problems, investigate social and political issues, and explore big ideas in elementary school math during sessions led by experienced teachers and teacher educators.

The camp will be held at the Federal Valley Resource Center in Stewart, Ohio. Each household will be eligible for a $50 prepaid gasoline card at its conclusion. The program will contact each family one week prior to the start of the camp to confirm registration. If registration cannot be confirmed for tentatively registered campers, waitlisted families will be contacted.
