REDCap workshops available for students, faculty and staff

Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is a web-based, secure, and HIPAA-compliant data collection platform and survey tool that is available free of charge to all students, faculty and staff at Ohio University.

REDCap is primarily used as a research tool, given its robust features for data collection and ability to collect sensitive data (e.g., protected health information or data collected in community settings and multi-site projects).

Students, faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about REDCap are encouraged to attend a training workshop. You can indicate your interest by completing the REDCap Training Survey . Several workshop levels are available, ranging from introductory departmental sessions (usually 10-15 minutes) to in-depth sessions for advanced users (90-120 minutes).

Additionally, REDCap consultants are available for one-on-one project consultations. Please contact Sierra Hightower or Elizabeth Capps at REDCap@ohio.edu with any questions or to schedule a consultation.

You can also review the help and resources website for instructional videos and FAQs.
