The Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership and Business Academic Advising and Career Services (BAACS) are excited to announce a remarkable event that promises to enrich your understanding of artificial intelligence, leadership, and the landscape of human resources.
On Nov. 14, Adam Zaller, the vice president of HR services and learning at Cardinal Health, will share his insights and expertise regarding technology, HR, and evolving the employee experience in a presentation beginning at 5 p.m. in the Baker University Center Theater. Last March, students in the Human Resources Management Certificate Program and SHRM Student Chapter visited Zaller and his team at Cardinal Health for lunch and a deep dive into their HR functions.
“We are thrilled to host Adam on campus for this unique opportunity to get a glimpse into how Cardinal Health is utilizing technology and AI within the employee experience. Adam is one of the smartest and most innovative people I know. We appreciate his willingness to share his experiences and invest in our students,” said Shawnee Meek, associate professor of instruction and director of the Human Resources Certificate Program.

Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership
The Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership at Ohio University provides dynamic leadership and management focused programs designed to help you discover and develop your inner leader. The advanced leadership development of students in all Walter Center Programs is what makes them stand out and sought after by top companies. Much thought and research go into the selection of curriculum and assessments for each program — hand-selected to stay relevant and effective.
The goal for undergraduate leadership development is like what one would expect in a corporate environment. Each class's facilitative and reflective nature allows for collaborative sharing and deep conversation. Time spent together mustn't feel like a class, so the traditional curriculum is light. Instead, all the focus comes from the premise of Principle-Centered Leadership.
