As the summer sun begins to shine, Ohio University Southern is gearing up to host its annual Bobcat Academy summer program from July 22 – 26. Aimed at youth entering first grade through sixth grade, this week-long event promises an array of engaging activities designed to foster leadership, academic prowess, and imaginative exploration.
Participants will embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and fun from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The academy offers a diverse range of experiences, ensuring there's something for every young mind eager to learn and grow.
"We're thrilled to welcome young Bobcats to our campus for a week filled with learning and excitement," said Teresa Smith, summer programming coordinator at OHIO Southern. "Bobcat Academy is more than just a summer camp; it's an opportunity for children to explore new interests, develop valuable skills, and create lasting memories in a supportive and enriching environment."
Registration for the academy is now open, with a fee of $40 per participant. This fee covers the cost of the program, as well as a Bobcat Academy t-shirt, water bottle, and daily snacks. Parents are asked to provide a packed lunch for their young attendees each day. To secure a spot, interested families are encouraged to register by July 1.
