Ohio University will host a wide range of Moms Weekend events on April 5-7.
Large numbers of family members and friends are expected to visit Ohio University over the weekend, enjoying time with their Bobcat students and taking part in special events.
This year’s events will include concerts, crafts, campfires, ziplining, dancing, “Dance Moms,” the International Street Fair and tea with Ohio University President Lori Stewart Gonzalez.
This Moms Weekend events will include.
- Dairy Barn Fest! – April 5 and 6 at the Dairy Barn Arts Center
- Commuter Mom's Weekend Craft-tacular Afternoon! – April 5 at Jefferson Hall
- Moms Weekend Zipline – April 5, 6 and 7 at the Challenge Course on The Ridges
- Spring Bash – This April 5 event will feature music, games, prizes and much more on the East Green
- Paint and Sip – April 5 at the Living Learning Center
- World Music and Dance Concert – April 5 at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium
- Moms Weekend Campfire - April 5 and 6 at The Ridges
- Moms Weekend: UniversiTea with President Gonzalez – April 6 at the Academic Engagement Center at 29 Park Place
- International Street Fair – April 6 at the corner for College and Union Streets
- Moms Weekend Expo hosted by Black Student Cultural Programming Board – This April 6 event will include food, dancing, massages, mocktails, painting and a photo booth in the Baker University Center
- Moms Weekend StartUp Market – April 6 in Alden Library
- UPC Hosts: Dance Moms Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland – April 6 in the Baker University Center Ballroom, featuring the starts of the hit television program, “Dance Moms”
- Comedian Hannah Berner – April 6 in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium
- Moms Weekend Bouquet Making – April 7 in the Baker University Center
