OHIO is transitioning from Blackboard to Canvas. Both platforms allow you to access course syllabi, assignments, and grades.
Note: For each of your courses, check with your instructor on which platform you will use.

Common tech tools
- Microsoft Teamsis a video conferencing tool included in Microsoft 365. During your time at OHIO, you may use Microsoft Teams to attend online course sessions, connect with campus offices, and collaborate with classmates.
- Help and Resources: Microsoft Teams has lots of resources to get you started.
- Proctortrack, also known as Online Proctoring, allows instructors to give secure exams online.
- Help and Resources: Online Proctoring guides you through setting up Proctortrack on your device.
- Top Hat is a tool that instructors may use to help you participate in class.
- Help and Resources: Top Hat contains resources to get your devices ready for class.
- VoiceThread is a tool that instructors may use to give assignments involving you uploading, sharing, and commenting on various different types of media.

Inclusive Access - digital course materials
Inclusive Access gives you access to digital course materials, like e-textbooks, automatically on the first day of class. The cost of these materials is automatically charged to your student account if your course is participating. The Inclusive Access program is designed to increase affordability and the convenience of obtaining course materials.

Free tutoring from the Academic Achievement Center & University Libraries
