Advising is a partnership between a student and an academic advisor who work together to create educational plans to meet the student's academic, career, and personal goals. The student is responsible for being prepared for and participating in advising sessions, as well as understanding University and program requirements.
All OHIO Online students will be assigned an academic advisor. If you don't know who your advisor is, students can locate their academic advisor on their My OHIO Student Center , as well as their DARS.
If you are a nondegree student from another university or college, you will need to consult with your advisor at that institution to make sure the OHIO class(es) you plan to take meet your degree needs. RN to BSN studentscan find their advisor in the Nursing Knowledge Center .
