Trombone Day Concert featuring Natalie Cressman & Ian Faquini
It is the most beautiful time of the year!
Trombone Day Conecrt 2025 will feature the extraordinary trombonist and singer Natalie Cressmanand guitarist Ian Faquini!
Trombonist and singer-songwriter Natalie Cressman and guitarist Ian Faquini have created an intimate duo that fuses jazz, Brazilian songwriting, and impressionism. Their original songs, featuring three languages, combine acoustic guitar and trombone with rich vocal harmonies. With acclaimed albums like *Setting Rays of Summer* (2019) and *Auburn Whisper* (2022), they've gained recognition as finalists for “Duo of The Year” by the Jazz Journalists Association in 2023 and performed both nationally and internationally.
Ian Faquini, a protégé of Brazilian guitarist Guinga, infuses MPB with jazz influences and has performed at major festivals worldwide. Natalie Cressman, a versatile trombonist from New York City, has toured with Trey Anastasio from Phish and collaborated with jazz greats. She has released three albums and has been recognized twice as a “Rising Star Trombone” in Downbeat Magazine’s Critic’s Poll.
Anyone interested in music should attend the Concert. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hear these outstanding artists in Ohio!
