Facilities Management has scheduled a campus-wide electric outage that will cause a campus-wide network outage for the following time:
Sunday, May 18, 2025
Total Duration: 18 hours
Start: 5:00 a.m.
Complete: 11:00 p.m.
This outage will provide an opportunity to perform necessary preventative maintenance and tie-in projects taking place at the Old Heating Plant switchgear as well as the McDavis Residence Hall. These activities reduce the likelihood of an unplanned service interruption and enable FMS to more quickly and safely respond in the event of an unplanned outage. The outage has been scheduled during non-business hours to minimize impact to the Ohio University community.
Buildings and areas that will NOT be impacted by the planned outages include:
4 University Terrace
31 S. Court Street
66 University Terrace
Bingham House
Columbus Road Buildings
Konneker Alumni Center
Ping Cottage
West State Street Research Park
Affected Services:
