Manaf Afyouni is a respected healthcare leader who has served patients and healthcare professionals in the United Arab Emirates since 1987. He is currently the Managing Director of Gulf Scientific Corporation, a company which provides life science and industry laboratory solutions in in the Middle East region from its base in Dubai.
Between 2011 and 2018, Manaf served as the Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He was also Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Dubai Healthcare City (2003 – 2011). Over the years he has built strong relationships with the local regulators and providers, and strategic partnerships with key international healthcare providers and educational institutions.
