Expert Bio

Matthew Fox is an associate professor Nursing, where he has been a faculty member since 2014. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Norwich University. Fox is a two-time graduate of Ohio University in 2009 and 2011.  Fox’s research focuses on simulation in nursing education, mindfulness meditation, and innovative instruction techniques.  

He has been published in academic journals such as Clinical Simulation in Nursing , Nursing Education, National League for Nursing, and AURCO.  Fox has received numerous grants to fund nursing simulation lab equipment purchases. In addition to his research, Fox has taught in both the AAS-N and BSN programs at Ohio University, coordinating didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction.

Fox is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, the National League for Nursing, and Society, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. He is also a frequent presenter at state and national conferences.
