Ohio University and The Ohio University Foundation have transitioned from JP Morgan Chase to PNC Financial Services. This banking change is applicable to payroll processing, accounts payable processing, student refunds, and bank deposits.
Deposits
Departments that are using a “for deposit only” stamp referencing JP Morgan Chase will need to replace their stamp. The deposit stamp should read:
Ohio University
For Deposit Only
<department name>
Departments that have provided JPMC depository information to Ohio University customers for payment will need to update the banking information with those entities. Contact Carole Gilkey ( gilkey@ohio.edu , 593-4217) or Sherry Rossiter ( downs@ohio.edu , 593-4129) in the Office of the Bursar for the updated banking information.
Departments that have provided JPMC depository information to The Ohio University Foundation’s donors will need to update the banking information with those individuals and organizations. Contact Foundation Accounting ( oufacctg@ohio.edu ) for the updated banking information.
Payroll
If you are an employee that receives your paycheck by electronic transfer (ACH) you may notice that your deposits will now come from PNC Bank beginning with payroll dates 10/25/2022 and after. There is nothing that you as an employee need to do as a result of the University changing banks. This is simply for your information.
