Emma is from Columbus, Ohio, and has always had a passion for design and has used her time at Ohio University to cultivate her skills in architecture and design.
Her senior thesis focuses on an educational facility for elementary students with learning disabilities, specifically ADD and ADHD. This idea stems from her own experience, not knowing of her learning disability until junior high when she was already behind the rest. Well offers tutoring and counseling, smaller class sizes, and learning opportunities throughout the space to support the student’s growth in a way that caters to their way of learning.
Emma plans to move back to Columbus after graduating and hopes to use the connections she made during her time at Ohio University to find a design position.
