My name is Keirstan Mesnick, and I grew up in a small town called Bainbridge, located in Northeast Ohio. My passion for interior design was ignited through growing up watching HGTV and re-organizing my room all the time. This cultivated an aspiration to pursue a career in the field. On top of a degree in Interior Architecture, I am pursuing a dual minor program encompassing Business Administration and Studio Art. Post-graduation, my aim is to secure a position within a distinguished residential design firm, where I can actively design clients’ dream homes.
My thesis revolves around the development of a Foster Care Facility. This topic holds a large significance for me, as my recent experiences nannying children who were once in foster care have become family. Witnessing positive outcomes in their lives has inspired me to create environments that provide every child in foster care with the opportunity to thrive, and be nurtured within safe and supportive spaces.
