As Dads Weekend approaches, it's important to think of some activities that’ll give the whole OHIO experience. Stuck on what to do? Look no further than the Alden Open.

Ohio University Libraries will be hosting its tenth annual Alden Open during Dads Weekend on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The mini-golf course will span across the third, fourth and fifth floors of Alden Library with players being able to join until the last round at 3:30 p.m. This year’s Open will also be free of cost and open to everyone.

The design and course itself change every year as well, so it’s sure to be a new and exciting experience for everyone. In addition, the Open isn’t only just a fun social event, but it’s also a great way to show fathers around the Library too.

Besides mini golf, there will be a variety of games to play as well. Activities such as corn hole and Giant Jenga will be available outside Alden's fourth floor, weather permitting. Otherwise, the games will be on the fourth floor in the 1951 lounge.
