“. . . Dr. Eaton knocked on our door at 5 o’clock this morning to call that they had sighted land and it was time to arise. They did not have to wait for us because we wanted to see Gibraltar. We had three hours time. The boat could not land at the shore but they brought us ashore in small boats.”
