OHIO Online Incentive Scholarships are available to OHIO alumni, as well as employees of our 50+ corporate partners, military active duty, and veterans. The 15% scholarship applies to instructional, program, and non-resident fees.
Required Courses
Courses will run for seven weeks online to accommodate professionals who cannot commit to a full semester. The courses are four credit hours each and do not need to be taken in sequence.
- MDIA 5705: Writing and Producing the Non-Fiction Podcast Series - Explore the process of writing, pre-producing, creating, and distributing a multi-episodic podcast series for client-based non-fiction projects.
- COMM 5510: Short Form Video for Professional Communication - Learn about the creation of short form video as a method for communication in professional industries. Examine tools and technologies, content production and distribution strategies. Consumer platforms are employed to ensure flexible production practices.
- COMM 5520: Motion Graphics Elements for Professional Communication - An introduction to asset design and motion graphics, this course teaches graphic design principles for the ideation, development and production of motion graphics. You'll also learn best practices for dynamic, thoughtful and appropriate communication and design solutions.
