First Year Experiences

- Make connections in your Learning Community .
- Join a student organization , and don’t forget the organizations associated with your major.
Sophomore Year Experiences
You know the campus. Deepen your engagement. Explore opportunities within your major or select a major.
- Take on a leadership role within a student organization associated with your major or other leadership opportunities on campus.
- Explore study away opportunities, within and outside of the USA. Study away for a semester, part of a summer, over winter or spring break. Make a plan for your junior year.
- Connect with a Career Coach . Do not wait until you are about to graduate to take advantage of this resource.
- Explore on-campus student employment options and work on your core competencies to be better prepared to launch into a future career.
- Meet with your faculty mentor (spring semester).
- Create and update your professional materials, Career Services is a great resource.
- Complete the Sophomore Engagement Survey, watch your email after spring break.
Junior Year Experiences
Lock in to your major and identify potential career paths you want to pursue after graduation.
- Gain experience with an internship, check out the Career and Internship fair .
- Reconnect with your faculty mentor.
- Research and create a plan after you graduate.
- Engage in a study away experience.
- Network, make connections off-campus through Bobcat Network . Engage with Bobcat Alumni to network, explore career fields associated with your major.
- Check that you are ready for graduation .
Senior Year Experiences
Finish strong — continue to deepen your Bobcat experiences that will prepare you to launch after you graduate.
- Apply for graduation .

- Prep for interviews and attend career fairs .
- Complete financial aid exit counseling.
