University College and the Department of Aviation offer an Associate in Applied Science in aviation technology on the Athens campus. Career opportunities in commercial aviation as FAA-certified pilots and air crew members as well as positions in related aerospace industries may be available upon completion of this program. You must receive a grade of C (2.0) or better in all ground school courses that require an FAA written test in order to progress to a flight course.
Aviation is a highly skilled profession. Therefore, if you are enrolled in an aviation flight course, you must receive a B- or higher to continue in the course sequence.
