Tracy Watson, M.S., joined Ohio University in August 2023 as assistant professor of instruction in Mathematics.

Watson comes back to Ohio University after 26 years of teaching experience in Arkansas.  Her teaching experiences include being a part of the first Distance Learning team in Arkansas focused on giving rural high school students opportunities in mathematics and languages not feasible for their local school, teaching at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a focus on preparing students to take college mathematics courses, and teaching mathematics and computer science at the high school level with a passion for statistics.

Watson has an M.S. in Mathematics from Ohio University and B.S. in Mathematics from Millersville University, PA. She holds a teaching certification for secondary mathematics in Ohio and Arkansas and is a T3 National Instructor supporting teachers on the appropriate use of technology in the mathematics classroom.
