Purpose
The Innovation in Prevention in Rural Ohio Conference is a pivotal gathering designed to unite those who share a common vision of nurturing resilience and ensuring safety among our youth. Our purpose is to create a collaborative platform for initiating critical dialogues and exchanging evidence-based strategies focused on suicide prevention, combating substance abuse, mitigating the risks associated with gambling, and preventing sexual abuse. By convening a diverse array of thought leaders, frontline workers, educators, and policymakers, we aim to cultivate a comprehensive community of care, empowerment, and support that upholds the well-being of our young people and steers them toward a hopeful future.
Who should attend
Social workers, counselors, teachers, prevention specialists, substance abuse counselors, law enforcement, youth serving professionals, community members, anybody interested in creating a safe and healthy community for our youth.
Free Continuing Education Credits will be provided for social workers, prevention specialists, chemical dependency counselors, and teachers.
