Global Health Certificate

The Undergraduate Global Health Certificate prepares students in a variety of majors to work on global health problems involving underserved populations within governmental and non-governmental agencies.

Recent pandemics (HIV, SARS, avian influenza) have demonstrated the need to improve the quality and access to globalized health care. This certificate program prepares those in the allied health care professions - not only nursing, medicine, and public health, but also fields such as child life, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy - to deal with cross-cultural interactions, tropical disease, emerging global infections, and multiple determinants of health within their chosen professions.

Requirements
