Dr. Okechi Geoffrey Egekwu is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University. He teaches graduate courses in leadership, project management, accounting, and finance for engineering management (and other courses) in the Engineering Management program. His research interests include operations and process integration, advanced manufacturing systems, and integrated product/process development. For over five years, he directed different research projects at James Madison University Institute for Critical Infrastructure Protection Project (CIPP), a $4 million center funded by NIST. He also was the lead engineer in the development of manufacturing techniques for tough thermoplastic composite structures and roll forming of thermoplastic composite profiles. Dr. Egekwu has 11 years of industrial experience and worked in both consumer and defense enterprises. He was a visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences, Saarbrucken, Germany where he taught graduate engineering and business courses; he also taught operations management course at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA. He is Professor Emeritus of the College of Integrated Science and Engineering, James Madison University, VA where he taught various undergraduate and graduate courses for 23 years.    Dr. Egekwu earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, MBA, and B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
