Human Resources is excited to welcome Kroger back to the Athens Campus to offer an Immunization Clinic for flu, pneumonia, shingles and Covid-19 vaccinations. Exhibitors will also be on hand from various Ohio University departments, approved retirement providers and other groups to provide resources and information.

Registration is now available for Ohio University employees interested in attending the OHIO Faculty and Staff Resource Fair and Immunization Clinic.

IMMUNIZATIONS

Kroger Pharmacy will be offering free immunizations to employees covered by the University’s Anthem/CVS Caremark insurance plans.

• Influenza (Flu)
  Versions of this vaccine available:
  • Fluzone Quad/ Flubok
    Available to all employees
  • Fluzone HD
    Available to those 65 years and older
• Pneumonia (PCV20) -Prevnar 20
  Available for ages 19+ for patients with weakened immunity as a single dose or one year after Pneumovax 23 if never received Prevnar 13
• Shingles
   Adults 50 years and older, Adults 19 years and older with weakened immune systems due to disease or therapy
• Covid-19 
  Recommended that everyone receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of their prior vaccination status

WHAT TO BRING

To expedite the process of receiving your vaccination(s), wear short sleeves and bring the following with you to the Resource Fair/ Immunization Clinic:

• CompletedKroger Vaccine Consent Form   (Coming Soon!)
• CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (If receiving a Covid vaccination)
• CVS Caremark Prescription Card
  You will need to provide your CVS Caremark ID card to obtain immunizations. A CVS Caremark app is available for download. This will provide a digital ID card as well as access to your prescription coverage. You are encouraged to register at www.caremark.com which also allows you to view /download your prescription card. If you have questions you may call the number on the back of your card, 1-888-964-0089.

OTHER VACCINATION OPTIONS

If you’re not able to attend the Faculty & Staff Resource Fair/ Immunization Clinic other Flu Shot Options are available.
