A Workforce system upgrade is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 7. After normal payroll processing is complete, Workforce will remain unavailable for the remainder of the day on August 7. Users can expect Workforce to be available on Thursday, August 8. A notification will be sent out via email when the Workforce upgrade is complete. The time clocks used by hourly and student employees will be upgraded in conjunction with the Workforce system enhancements. To implement the upgrade, time clocks will be offline from Sunday, August 4 at 10:00 PM through Monday, August 5 at 4:00 AM.
What to Expect
The upgrade will have minimal impact on the overall user experience. Users will see visual changes with no major changes to system functionality.
Time clocks
The time clocks used by hourly and student employees will be upgraded in conjunction with the Workforce system enhancements. To implement the upgrade, time clocks will be offline from Sunday, August 4 at 10:00 PM through Monday, August 5 at 4:00 AM. Employees who need to clock in or out while the clocks are offline should contact their supervisor so time can be manually entered. After this downtime period, time clocks will record swipes, but the data will not appear in Workforce until the upgrade is competed and Workforce is available on August 8. These details will be posted at each time clock station as well.
Workforce Support Resources
On Monday, August 5, all of the Workforce documentation will be updated and available on the Human Resources System Training web page . This will give users an opportunity to see the changes prior to go-live.
