Professional Affairs provides meaningful opportunities for alumni, faculty and students to connect with one another. Whether through educational events, mentorship opportunities or faculty recruitment, there are many ways to stay engaged with the Heritage College long after graduation. Our goal is to create a community where graduates can easily get involved in ways that are personally rewarding to them.
We serve as one of the professional development arms of the Heritage College. We do not stop educating our students once they graduate; we educate them for a lifetime. Our most prominent professional development activity is the Ohio Osteopathic Symposium, the state’s largest continuing medical education program for osteopathic physicians. In conjunction with the Ohio Osteopathic Association, American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and our health system partners, we provide ongoing training and annual events on cutting-edge trends in the health care industry.
We also support the Heritage College through programmatic fundraising efforts, which ultimately help to fund scholarships that directly benefit students.
