Athens County is hosting a free COVID-19 testing pop-up site from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7 at Athens High School in The Plains.
Ohio University employees and students can receive testing at the site, which is open to the general public.
No appointment is needed; anyone can walk in on the scheduled day. A health care provider’s referral is not needed. Quantities may be limited, so anyone wishing to get tested is encouraged to arrive during the early testing times.
Other regional testing site locations will be announced soon. More information is available at coronavirus.ohio.gov.
