Virtual Accessibility Services Workshop to take place Tuesday, Jan. 10

On Tuesday, Jan. 10, Ohio University faculty and staff will have an opportunity to participate in a workshop aimed at increasing their knowledge surrounding accessibility.

Dr. Teresa McKenzie, Accessibility and Veterans Services Coordinator at Ohio University Southern Campus, will facilitate the virtual workshop that starts at 5 p.m. The workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams.

In this session, faculty and staff will learn about accessibility services for students, as well as laws, responsibilities, reasonable accommodations, tips and resources. They will also have an opportunity to meet the coordinators from each campus.

The workshop will give faculty and staff a chance to engage in dialogue and gain insight into the experiences of students with disabilities.
